Sled Dog Derbies

8 dog 14 mile entry fee $40.00 (7 mile trail ran twice)

6 dog 3.8 mile entry fee $30.00

4 dog 2 mile entry fee $20.00

Mileage changing due to slush conditions on lake

Registration 8 am 10 am

Musher Meeting 10 am

Race start 11 am

8 dog teams first followed by 6 dog teams and then 4 dog teams

Approx 2 minutes between teams and 5 minutes between starts of races

RULES

Skijoring

2 mile race entry fee $15.00

5 mile race entry fee $30.00

Registration 10 am 1 pm

Participant Meeting 1:15 pm

Start 2 pm

~Both races have a 2 dog max per skier

~Both are freestyle races (open to skate skiing or classic skiing)

and are open to all experience levels

~The race course will take place entirely on Poplar Lake

~Skate skiing should be quite favorable for those seeking speed!

~Kick Sleds welcome

~Please leave non competing pets at home
